Time needs to stop RIGHT NOW. I'm feeling old. My favorite author Michael Crichton died last year, and now David Eddings, the author of some of my favorite fantasy novels growing up has died. I felt his characters were more vibrant than popular authors, and I gobbled his series much faster than Tolkien's.

His family has "not released the cause of his death"... maybe he missed his wife (who died 2 years ago) and wanted to be with her.. I can't imagine how he could write without her by his side after accomplishing all that they did together.

Aphrael's the best goddess in any fantasy - her representations give the sweetest feelings.. They cause me to smile and just generally feel happy.

Thank you David for making me smile and laugh in a time of my life when nothing else did.
