11:47 pm - today
 Got to the campground, cousin was already drunk, said he'd meet me at the 7-11. I find him laying on the sidewalk practically asleep. We go back to the campground, hang out for a bit, I setup my space in the tent, he wanders off mumbling something about finding snacks. Later, other campers near us mentioned they saw him walking around speaking another language and then saying SNACKS need SNACKS. lol. He comes back to the tent with cheezy puffs. He puts them down in the tent and then forgets about them and then lays down on top of them and in 20 seconds he's snoring. LOL Kevin is great. I love abusing him by making him play volleyball early in the morning when he has a hangover. Did you have sweet dreams with those cheesy puffs Kev?
woke up, OJ and breakfast burritos and bacon for breakfast. Cousin's side of the family definitely knows how to camp in style. Surfing followed. Water was warmer in Encinitas than it was in La Jolla. Very beautiful day. Caught a bunch of waves, got a great workout, and felt really close to that part of the family which I haven't seen in a while.
Gave Keith (Kevin's dad) a high five while riding a wave, really wished I had a dad of my own to be surfing with, and felt Kevin was missing out as he tried getting out with a surfboard but just couldn't.
Yummy hot dog and burger for lunch, rest of the family got there and we hung out just enjoying the beach view from our campground on top of the cliffs.
Drove back to Rolo's and went for a 10 mile run. I only made it like 8 of the miles, cuz was getting a nasty blister. Lots of hills, great workout. See it here if u know san diego.
Back home to finish some coding stuff, clean the room, and hop in bed with a notepad to work on lyrics. Really like the lyrics to the barenaked ladies song "one week", and the flow.. a little too poppy tho, I want to work on a similar acoustic song that has a bit of a flow section to it.
